Science

Science is based on observations and experiments, to know about how the universe works. Observations tell us how and why things happen . Experiments are used to explain how the world works.

Modern science has three main branches

1. Natural Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and Earth science)
2. Social Sciences (e.g. psychology, sociology, economics, history)
3. Formal Sciences (e.g. mathematics, logic, theoretical computer science), which study abstract concepts

The word scienceis derived from Latin word scientia which means knowledge or experience. The main aim of science is to find out the simplest answers of most complex facts.
